The posted street signs will indicate which day of the week cleaning occurs. If you find street cleaning is occurring on a street on which you are parked, you may find alternate parking on an adjacent street where street sweeping is not taking place. ✹ OPEN CONTAINER POLICY - Downtown Savannah has an open container policy (plastic only) which allows you to walk around and drink (only) in the downtown Historic District, north of Forsyth Park. If you want to spend a night out on the town, West Congress Street is home to a high concentration of bars. ✹ FREE DOT SHUTTLE - Guests can use Savannah’s Free DOT trolley service to get around downtown Savannah. The nearest stop is just a short 2 block walk from the home, on Whitaker Street. ✹ LATE CHECK-OUT - Please get in contact with us should you require a late check-out, and we will do our best to accommodate you. This place was exactly what we needed it to be! There isn’t a living room, but that is included in the description. We were fine with that and used the front room and table as our gathering space. We had a wedding to attend at Victory North, and we walked about 2 blocks to get there, so it was wonderful! We also walked over to an area with food trucks, drinks, coffee, and little shops.

No living room area and the power went out for the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. That said it's in a very walkable area close to starland yard. Great spot if are only using it for the beds, but not otherwise.
