This home is newly furnished and offers plenty of amenities. The interior was designed by SCAD alumni, and the home features original art from the SCAD grads. This private bedroom includes 1 queen bed, a desk/workspace, and a Roku Smart TV. There are 2 full bathrooms, but only one is accessible to this bedroom. The full kitchen is perfect for preparing light meals and includes a stove, oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. It's stocked with cooking essentials like pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and mugs. The patio offers a gorgeous view, and is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee! Please keep in mind this home is on the top floor of a multi unit building. This listing is a great fit for young couples or travelers who have previous experience booking private bedrooms within a shared space. It’s likely that on busy weekends or popular travel times that you’ll be sharing the home with other Airbnb guests and may interact with them in passing. Each bedroom is listed as its own Airbnb for travelers to book. This is a shared space, and we ask that all of our guests are courteous and respectful. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the behavior of other guests. There is an electronic keypad on the front door for convenient self check-in. Each bedroom also has its own electronic lock for additional peace of mind. Parking: There is free, on-street parking available. This is very common in Savannah - if you decide to stay downtown, you will have a very hard time finding off-street parking. There is usually ample parking available, but it is first come, first served and there are no reserved spaces. We cannot guarantee parking spaces, or enough space for trailers, U-Hauls, boats, etc. Please be advised of weekly street cleaning - there are signs that indicate which day of the week the street cleaning is, and if you happen to stay during street cleaning, you can just park on the opposite side of the street. Quiet Hours: This is a residential neighborhood. Please be advised that we ask all guests to respect 10PM quiet hours every night of the week. Any violations may result in a formal report on Airbnb or an early termination of your reservation. Any unapproved late checkouts may result in additional fees. There is a $50 shipping fee for any items that you leave behind and need shipped back to you. You're within walking distance to historic downtown and many Savannah staples, including Fox & Fig, Hitch, Peregrin, and J. Christopher's. Spend the day exploring SCAD buildings, beautiful Savannah squares, or take a tour of the Cathedral, all without a car. A quick 6 minute Uber ride to River Street and about a 25 minute drive to Tybee Island! I’d recommend this home to anyone looking to come to Savannah to have a great time and experience the city as locally and authentically as possible! If a residential neighborhood filled with art students and families of folks who look differently than you will make you uncomfortable, then I’d recommend a hotel. If things like dust on blinds, leaves on the patio, or scuffs on the stairs are what will determine whether or not you enjoy your stay, I’d also recommend a hotel. It's a very central neighborhood, consisting of SCAD students, Savannah locals, and vacation homes alike. We love Sentient Bean for vegan breakfast and lunch options, or The Collins Quarter Cafe for weekend brunch and mimosas. Stop by Brighter Day Natural Foods Market for your basic grocery and deli needs! Make sure you check out the Forsyth Farmer's Market, which takes place every Saturday from 9a.m. to 1p.m. With a walk score of 92% and a bike score of 87%, meaning the area is very walkable and bike-able, downtown Savannah is truly a walker’s paradise. With 22 public squares, the best way to see everything is on foot so bring comfy shoes! It's totally possible—and incredibly fascinating—to spend days strolling through Savannah’s historic neighborhoods, including the nation's largest Landmark Historic District. ✔ WALK/BIKE SCORE - The Victorian District has a walk and bike score of 90%, making it one of downtown Savannah’s most walkable neighborhoods! ✔ BIKE RENTALS - Savannah is a Bronze Level Bicycle-Friendly Community as awarded by the League of American Bicyclists. If getting around on two wheels is your style, Sekka on Broughton St offers hourly and daily bike rentals, and Savannah On Wheels offers both bike rentals and bike tours. ✔ FREE TROLLEY - The DOT shuttle is a fare-free trolley service to help visitors and residents get around downtown Savannah. This free shuttle service runs every 10 minutes, with free Wi-Fi, and ""hop on/hop off"" service at any of 33 stops around the Historic District placing you within easy walking distance of more than 45 cultural attractions, local museums, and many popular shops, restaurants, and pubs. The nearest trolley stop is on Drayton Street at Forsyth Park. ✹ The Forsyth loop runs from East Victory Drive, north on Drayton Street, to Johnson Square on Bryan Street, and then south on Whitaker Street to West Victory Drive. ✹ The Downtown loop runs from East Liberty Street, north on Price Street - to Eastern Wharf – then north on Lincoln Street, to Congress Street, and south on MLK Jr. Blvd to West Liberty Street. ✔ UBER – There are plenty ride/share options too! This Airbnb is pet friendly. There is a $35 pet fee if you decide to bring your pet along. Please no cats! Pets cannot be disruptive to other guests or destructive to the home. Alcohol: - Downtown Savannah has an open container policy (plastic only), which means you can walk around and drink downtown (limited to north of Park St) - Bars are concentrated on West Congress St. I also would like to mention from previous experiences that my house is in a diverse neighborhood of a diverse city and my guests as well as neighbors reflect that. It's one of my favorite parts of hosting! If you are uncomfortable with others who may be of different skin color or beliefs as you, I would not recommend my home.
