✔ CHECK-IN - Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door.

✔ STAIRS - This unit is on the 2nd floor of a 2-story duplex house. You must be able to climb stairs to enjoy this newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment.

✔ LUGGAGE - We’re happy to coordinate luggage drop-offs for guests with early arrivals.

✔ PARKING - There is free on-street parking available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. There is usually ample parking available. Please note that we are unable to guarantee street-parking spaces, for trailers, U-hauls, boats, etc. If you need to park these vehicles, please make alternative arrangements.

✔ REMOTE WORK FROM HOME - There is free, high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the home, a dedicated workspace in the primary bedroom, plus multiple laptop friendly surfaces throughout the home.

The home is in the heart of Savannah's downtown Victorian District so you're just minutes away from all the activities the walkable city has to offer. Stroll through Savannah’s famous Forsyth Park and Chippewa Square (where Forrest Gump was filmed) on your way to River Street (less than two miles away) to enjoy restaurants, pubs, and even a haunted trolley tour. Visit one of the many museums or stroll through any of the 22 downtown squares to learn about the city's heritage. Tybee Island is the nearest beach destination and is only 18 miles away.

Savannah's Victorian District is a diverse neighborhood that flows south from the well-known National Landmark Historic District, The Victorian District encompasses the West Victorian, East Victorian, and Dixon Park neighborhoods. This downtown neighborhood was developed in the second half of the 19th century as a streetcar suburb of the original city and is studded with two- and three-story houses as ornate as wedding cakes.

✹ Brighter Day Natural Foods Market - Savannah's historic natural foods market has served as an anchor at the south end of Forsyth Park since 1978, offering a wide selection of organic goods, fresh produce, natural foods, and they even have a walk-up deli window serving up tasty sandwiches on the go! An ideal stop for visitors who would like to pack a healthy picnic to enjoy in Forsyth Park

✔ BIKE RENTALS - Savannah is a Bronze Level Bicycle-Friendly Community as awarded by the League of American Bicyclists. If getting around on two wheels is your style, Sekka on Broughton St offers hourly and daily bike rentals, and Savannah On Wheels offers both bike rentals and bike tours.

✔ FREE TROLLEY - The DOT shuttle is a fare-free trolley service to help visitors and residents get around downtown Savannah. This free shuttle service runs every 10 minutes, with free Wi-Fi, and "hop on/hop off" service at any of 33 stops around the Historic District placing you within easy walking distance of more than 45 cultural attractions, local museums, and many popular shops, restaurants, and pubs. The nearest trolley stop is on Drayton Street.

✹ The Forsyth loop runs from East Victory Drive, north on Drayton Street, to Johnson Square on Bryan Street, and then south on Whitaker Street to West Victory Drive.

✹ The Downtown loop runs from East Liberty Street, north on Price Street - to Eastern Wharf – then north on Lincoln Street, to Congress Street, and south on MLK Jr. Blvd to West Liberty Street.

✔ UBER – There are plenty ride/share options too! It's quick and easy to catch an Uber or Lyft throughout the city. You can even schedule a pick-up time at the airport with Uber Reserve!

✔ PARKING - If you prefer to see the sites in the comfort of your own car there are 10 public parking garages throughout the Historic District, and of course, this neighborhood offers convenient and free on street parking should you rather explore the city on foot.

✹ DIVERSITY - This home is in a diverse, residential neighborhood and is ideal for guests seeking to enjoy an authentic Savannah experience.

✹ PETS - We are pet friendly, but please no cats. Please be respectful of other guests, who may be staying downstairs, and ensure your pet does not cause damage to the unit. There is a $100 pet fee if you decide to bring your pet along. We will request the pet fee directly through Airbnb before check in, or you can select the pet when booking the home.

✹ QUIET HOURS - This is a residential neighborhood. We respectfully ask that you observe quiet hours from 10PM, every night of the week. Violations of this rule may result in a formal report filed on Airbnb or early termination of your booking.

✹ POTENTIAL FOR NOISE - This apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 2-story duplex on Henry St which is a main downtown street. This is a 123-year-old house, built in 1900, and the walls are thin and not soundproof. It is possible that you may hear the guests staying in the unit below at some point during your stay. If you are sensitive to street noise, we highly suggest packing earplugs or utilizing a white noise app.

✹ STREET CLEANING - Street cleaning takes place weekly. The posted street signs will indicate which day of the week cleaning occurs. If you find street cleaning is occurring on a street on which you are parked, you may find alternate parking on an adjacent street where street sweeping is not taking place.

✹ FREE DOT SHUTTLE - Guests can use Savannah’s Free DOT trolley service to get around downtown Savannah. The nearest stop is approximately four blocks from the home, on Drayton Street.

✹ OPEN CONTAINER POLICY - Downtown Savannah has an open container policy (plastic only) which allows you to walk around and drink (only) in the downtown Historic District, north of Forsyth Park. If you want to spend a night out on the town, West Congress Street is home to a high concentration of bars.

✹ LATE CHECK-OUT - Please get in contact with us should you require a late check-out, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Failure to notify us in advance of a late check-out may result in additional fees.

✹ ITEMS LEFT AFTER CHECK-OUT - Upon check-out, please check the home thoroughly for your personal belongings. A $50 shipping fee will be charged to ship items back to you.

✹ PEST CONTROL - The home benefits from regular pest control, but due to our beautiful southern weather and lush, leafy-green surroundings, you may occasionally encounter an outdoor bug.
